for those who have tried it, was it worth it? Did you feel you were getting your moneys worth and was it extensive enough to meet your needs?
I worked with PJ Braun and he put me on Keto for 12 weeks
What kind of diets did you guys get put on? No specifics but carb cycle high carb low carb high or low fats. Cheats meals? Etc. I have followed Palumbos theories of fat builds muscle but I haven't built a lot of muscle with high fat and moderate carbs.
Honest question for the guys who've hired trainers: Why did you hire one?
I've been very tempted to hire Shelby lately and might do that for this coming offseason.
I've held back so long because I always thought it was very important to KNOW YOUR OWN BODY FIRST. Assuming that most of the coaches use a similar guideline with each client, wouldn't it be better to really figure out what works for you rather than hire someone? ESPECIALLY since most of these trainers are never going to be with you or in front of you.
I almost enjoy tinkering with my diet and finding out what adjustments work and what doesn't.
Just looking for some perspective here.
