In his book, anabolics 2007,llewellyn suggests taking all orals on an empty stomach to increase their bioavailability.Any reason why this method works better than if taking them after meals?

The 3rd paragraph pretty much sums up why it make drugs more bioavailable.

BrooklynBB said:Good read, and you don't even have to take it with the orals if you don't want to since the effects of the enzyme blocking lasts 24 hours according to the link you provided:
"...grapefruit juice does not have to be taken at the same time as the medication in order for the interaction to occur. Therefore, unlike similar interactions, where the interaction can be avoided by separating the administration of the two interacting agents by a couple of hours, administration of grapefruit juice with susceptible drugs should be separated by 24 or more hours to avoid the interaction."
Feasibly, you could take it at some point during the night before and the effects will stay with you for about 24 hours. I mention this in case anyone is under the impression that you have to gulp down grapefruit juice every time you pop a med to get the effect. That isn't necessary.
