I had the same surgery done in 2007 (at the same time as my gyno surgery) and I used Oxandrolone and low dose Test/NPP during my post-surgery recovery period to speed up the process, and I loved it. If I had been able to afford HGH at that time, i would have had that in with the Ox as my top 2 weapons for post-surgery.
The biggest thing to look for before just go full board again is to see how you feel doing squats and deads. Those will tell ya whether or not you are ready to really hit it again.
I can't answer whether you are ready or not to use AAS, imo I would have used them for recovery purposes at low doses anyway. So yes you may be fine to actually use AAS again, but i'd be more concerned on how intense to train with the two forementioned exercises.
I was ready by month 4 to go full board. The surgery itself wasn't painful at all for me, and I was able to hit the gym after a month, but I waited to go heavy on squats and deads until about month 4.
Good luck!
