wow, that brings back memories. i had that damn thing on for 7 weeks. i will never forget the smell of my armpit after 7 weeks of not being able to raise my arm to wash it, yuck
Same thing happened to me.However I could not stand the sling - so I took it off after two days.Just held my arm gently on my lap or stomach without tensing any muscles.Didn't you lift your arm at all in 7 weeks?I had to actually gently flex my pec for the doc after a month.
Edge I'm in the same boat bro it does smell. I can lean forward while in the shower to clean under my arm and it will be ok for about 30 min until I start sweating again. I started trying to use small amounts of spry deoderant and it has helped some but I don't want to spray it directly on th cut. I get my stiches out here in about 3 hours and then I'll get an idea from my Doc how I'm progressing.
Back the gym finaly tommrrow. It's been almost 4 weeks now since I've lifted and dealing with the injury has totally thrown off my normal life. I figure I'f at least try and do what I can then I'll will stick to somewhat of a more normal diet and routine. What is your guys thoughts on working out my left side of my upper body which isn'y injuried? I plan on doing very light work for all muscle groups of my left upper boddy and hitting legs as hard as I can.
