periactin for appetite??

is periactin any good for inc. appetite? i have a big lack of appetite and i got periactin a few days ago and have been using it-i used it after vit b-12 IM failed for me...how many pills shoulf i take a day??

I would be cautious about using that because it make you so sleepy, but all of that information is in a certain bid book that we all know.

What is the reason you don't have an appetite?

I have used periactin for headaches before. The problem I find is that if I take in PM I feel absolutely hung over tired the next morning. As far as appetite, never really noticed any change.

Appetite loss is usually indicative of liver stress. Especially in inj B12 does not work.

Ive tried B12 and Periactin, neither worked. I hear B12 is only effective for those who have a defficiancy or old people.

maybe try eating more smaller meals, I find I can get more cals down that way. good practice anyway.

periactin will increase your appitite but make sure you take it at night as it makes you drowsy (it helps give you a good sound sleep to)....you do feel a little drowsy the first couple of days using it tho....so i just started on half a tab for a couple of days then went to a full one with no probs the next day

xanax makes me eat a house!! Only for bulking because I only take it a few hours before bed. It does not give me a hang over unless I take it around 11. Thats wakeing at 5:30.

Try fenugreek.I am always hungry when I use this and it is also a great digestive aid.
