Possible Cutting Drug Experiment... what you think?

Im really curious to what extent cutting drugs matter in a contest diet. After i get back to my fat ol self i was considering doing a test run to see what the drugs really do. I carry abs year round but i can get up to 12-15% bodyfat tops. I figure il run 100-150mcg T3 and 160mcg clen for 4 weeks WITHOUT dieting at all, im talkin pizza, mcdonalds, etc... Im curious to see what happens, what do you all think of this little experiment?
 
it does help keep u lean. i did it once after a show to bulk and stayed very lean for me, but i also ate fairly clean, just alot of it.

Taking 100 mcg or more of T3 daily seems high to me, as does the 160 mcg of Clen.

Either you're going to have to be on those extreme doses for a short period of time - like two weeks, in which case you won't lose a lot of fat (or prevent much fat gain), or you're going to run it for longer in which case you risk reducing your thyroid hormone output. If you reduce your thyroid output, it'll take some time to get it back to normal. How long? Depends on the dosages of T3 and Clen how long you run them , and how sensitive your particular physiology is to all this. Then, while you wait for your thyroid to get back to normal, you're metabolism is slower than it would be making it easier to re-gain everything you lost or prevented. In addition, you run the risk of side effects that'll mimick hypertyroidism while on these proposed high dosages. AND, you propose eating absolute unhealthy shit while you do this!

Why not eat a bit cleaner, do some off-season cardio, and just watch your bodyfat levels to keep them from getting above, say, 12% or so? Seems like it would be a LOT healthier from the standpoint of drug sides and dietary intake, don't you think?

Not worth the possible sides from it. Clen makes me shake like a mofo and T3 is only for contest prep IMO.
 
I have to do cardio year round or I just get fat :(
 
i think i posted about mine around 2 years ago. u can search and maybe find it. it may be in one of bigkiwi's threads about his diet. cant remember, i will look if i have time later.
 
Im not doing it to stay lean. Im happy with my level of leanness offseason and eating whatever i want. I was just curious HOW big a part drugs play in cutting bodyfat. Still not sure if i wanna do this, thats why i ask for opinions.
 
Well, I already did that and all I did was get high blood pressure a pounding pulse and a fat roll. I was even using about the same doses. Clen and t3 are pretty pointless if you're going to be stuffing yourself with shit food. Your health will suffer for it. Why would you want the side effects of a bad diet AND the drugs?
 
I did it not too long ago when I was dieting for a show, then had to back out about 6 weeks out

I was already lean to begin with cuz of all the dieting and was on 100mcg t3 and 120 clen ED, after I backed out of the show I stayed on that stuff and ate like a pig.............. :D

I got bigger, fuller, and didn't gain hardly any fat

I would say go for it, I loved it, eating whatever the hell I want and looking like I'm dieting

I HAVE NEVER USED T3 AND DON'T PLAN ON IT. I DON'T THINK ANYONE NEEDS IT.....

well even if it works well i think your BP and cholesterol will be rediculous, I would still eat healthy. atleast somewhat healthy.
 
i agree, eat the same as u normally would to bulk, that way u will know better how much it helps.

u were also probably somewhat depleted and in a state to supercompensate well
 
too poo will be also.
