I came across an article on post-competition perils and posted it in the article forum. For those of you who are competition this year, what is your post-competition plan?
Mine plan:
No more "bulking" cycles. I feel like I've put on plenty of muscle, and I really like my size. Age has started catching up to me, and I found it harder to take the extra pounds off over the past couple of years. I've decided to stay on a "clean" diet. Adjust my carbs as needed for week to week. Add a cheat meal or day depending on how I look that week. I'll still do some cardo 4 days a week. It all sounds good on paper. LOL
So far I've done really well. I had my cheat meals earlier this week, and then went right back to clean eating. I haven't gain but a couple of pounds, so I think I'm through the worst part. I don't feel like bingeing any more. I feel like I have control of all the post-competition blahs.
