Post cycle acne

Can anyone tell me why I break out w/ crazy acne about 1 week into my PCT? I asked a buddy and he said he gets the same thing. Its weird because I don't have any problems during my cycle...it's like my skin freaks out when my natural test is coming back.

My guess is hormonal imbalance, I get the same thing it sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!
Clomid may be the reason as well?? That shit does crazy stuff to some folks.

I think it is the clomid, but i don't get the weird side effects that some guys get from it, I actually like the stuff but it does give me some bad acne for a week or two.

No, its not because of clomid. I've never used clomid and my skin is perfect on cycle, but I have terrible acne post cycle.
Go to the dermatologist and get on accutane.

HCG and definitely Clomid make me break out like crazy. And yeah, the hormonal imbalance has an effect too. Friggin' clomid...makes me break out, and makes me know how women feel like on PMS...weird mood swings, super happy one minute, super depressed the next. At least to fight the acne, I make sure to run a course of antibiotics during clomid or hcg use.

i used to get the same thing and always assumed it was due to my natural test coming back. it was only bad for a short time, and i dealt with it. also, as i got older it stopped (possibly 'cause my natural test production is much lower now) accutane is a pretty harsh medication. you may want to look into other things first.

I think I have read that it might even be due to estrogen levels, but I may be very wrong. Definetly is much worse when you get off.

I would agree about levels of estrogen and total doseages.. I know someone really close who has no issues on cutting cycles (low doseages of test prop, tren, primo, anavar, winny, etc.) with acne.. But when he tried 500mg a week of test enanthate and 150 mg tren a week.. He got bad post cycle acne for about 3 months.. Might be due to his PCT.. Which only included 2500IU HCG twice a week for two weeks..

Hormonal fluctuation's in either androgens or estrogen cause increases or decreases in sebum output causing the skin to become dry or over oiled leading to acne.

What I always wondered is why in certain areas like shoulders and chest/back and not others like arms, abdomen. If you think about it all day your shoulders and back/chest are protected from the outside environment under a shirt but your arms and legs are open to the dirty everyday things you do. So shouldn't theoretically breakouts occur much more on your arms and legs due to dirt and oil buildup than on your chest/back? I know the answer is less sebaceous glands in those areas but still you would think???

This time I got 30 days worth of minocycline 100mg (1 twice a day)...its a bacteriostatic antibiotic so it stops the growth cycle of acne causing bacteria thereby preventing their reproduction. You still have to shower two or three times a day to keep the oil from building up your skin...but just until your body's hormones level out again. Accutane is major stuff...and depending on the severity/duration of your acne you may want to try minocycline or doxycycline. Fewer side effects and much cheaper.

yeah, good stuff. That along with antibiotics will fix most people's acne problems.

If you guys think accutane is too harsh, then you obviously don't have severe acne. If you truly have severe acne you will know it because you will have that feeling like you would do ANYTHING to get rid of it.

Erythromycin topical gel applications (antibiotic) dramatically improve the look of your skin when you get this kind of problems.

As for the initial question, yes... hormonal imbalances.

I would agree that it is a hormonal imbalance, but i don't think estrogen is the culprit. This is my hypothesis. For example, when women get on a birth control pill their acne gets better and skin gets smoother, and what is BCP. Additional estrogen! It has to be the jump starting of your own natural test levels from PCT that causes the acne. Just my thoughts, could be wrong.

Not an expert but an expert did tell me, actually two experts..

Two different doctors told me that its when your test levels change..

So basically when you go on and when you go off your going to break out.. Bingo!

and yes PHidias is right Erythromyacin Benzoyl Peroxide works great.. A script is needed, just ask your doctor. Its something to take seriously, you dont want acne scars....

some post acne is common ,imo your test levels are going back up to normal. some people are blessed and dont get it at all unlike me and yourself .

yeah i have the same propblem as you when i go off i get the acne, from what i know its from your natural test levels comming back to its proper levels.
