Try mixing it with yogurt, oatmeal, etc. and eat it that way. Still fast and easy if you have access to a refrigerator (or take a cooler) and/or a microwave, these would be easy alternatives. I'm not sure about pre mixing protein. I've always been told if you can't drink it within 30 min., don't pre mix. You can always make goo with it too and just choke it down. Mix with just enough water to make it thick and shovel it in
Any decent protein will mix well when shaken. I prefer to mix and drink my shakes right away. If you let them sit, crusty shit can form on the inside of the cup.
i do it on days i train since i don't have time to go home before or after .. i blend together (2) 1 cup of oats with 2 scoops of whey and they get drank about 3 hours and 4.5 hours later .. i just shake them up and they're fine
Are you talking about meal replacements or just protein powder? Cause (mentioned earlier) protein powder should be fine to just shake up but meal replacements like EAS doesn't shake very well. Ends up all clumpy and crap.
