There was a book sale at the library yesterday and I picked up an old VHS by Joe Weider from the early nineties. On the tape there is alot of talk about the "Protein Effeciency Ratio." According to the tape fish and eggs are more complete protein and absorbed better than ground beef and pork, chicken and turkey followed by protein from milk.
They advocate switching up your protein sources..but if fish is the best absorbed than why wouldn't it be better to use fish as the majority of your protein?
And as far as Protein in supplements..how much is actually "absorbed?"
I thought that maybe the perspective on this might be different nowadays...
