PULLED GROIN DOING HEAVY NARROW/STANCE LEG PRESSES....
CRAP FELLAS....I KEEP PULLING MUSCLES IN MY LEGS ON THIS STUPID DIET....SEEMS MY LEGS NEVER REALLY RECOVER DUE TO ALL THE CARDIO I AM DOING...REALLY FELT STRONG YESTERDAY...DID 5SETS OF HAMSTRING CULRLS FIRST...GOT A GOOD PUMP AND BEGAN ON LEG PRESSES...FELT STRONG! THEN BANG! DEEP GROIN PULL BOTH SIDES BUT ESPECIALLY ON THE LEFT LEG. BEEN LIMPING AROUND THE SCHOOL ALL DAY...KIDS ARE MERCILESS. [ASKING ME IF I GOT RAPED LAST NIGHT...ETC..HAHAHA] I HAVE TO HANG ON TO STUFF JUST TO WALK UP STAIRS. HOW DO SOME OF YOU GUYS AVOID THIS? [OR IS IT JUST PART OF THE WHOLE PRE CONTEST DRUDGERY?]

I think alot of guys go thru the same thing on a precontest diet. It seems that the restricted calories don't alow for enough recorvery when hitting the heavy weights. PB

IT'S SORT OF A CATCH 22 THING FOR ME...SEEMS LIKE I HAVE TO TRAIN HEAVY OR I GET SMALLER. [HAHAHA...EVEN SMALLER THAN NORMAL!] PRETTY EASY TO GET NAGGING INJURIES THOUGH.

Jethro-you are probably far enough out from show, to cut out the cardio for a few days and let the injury heal some. Can you do that? Most importantly is that you dont keep it agrivated to the point you cant train legs anymore.

ACTUALLY, I HAVE NO CHOICE...I'VE BEEN USING MY VISITOR FOR 'CARDIO' SESSIONS EACH NIGHT! HAHAAHA...SHE'S STARTING TO GET TIRED OUT.

Try doing some leg adductor exercises. I know it's funny because you usually see girls doing it, but I used to get groin pulls quite often when squatting or doing the leg press. When I started strenghtening my adductors, I got no more groin pulls!
