Today I was doing pull-ups and after about the 8th one without warming up at all, i felt something pull in my armpit. Now it feels like something is strained in there, but it doesn't really hurt in my chest or in my lats. Anyone ever experience anything like this before? I was unable to do any more pull-up/down movements for the remainder of my workout today for fear of it escalating from a strain to a tear. Is there even a muscle in there and if so is it independent of both back and chest muscles?
