Here is what I read about Dr. John Crislers Nolvadex protocol (as seen here: http://www.allthingsmale.com/publications.html )
"If a patient has “nipple issues”, even while estrogen is within normal range, I add a SERM, emergently. I prefer Nolvadex over Clomid. Clomid often induces untoward visual effects (i.e. “tracers”), and can cause emotional lability by virtue of its estrogen agonistic effects at the more peripheral (emotion) brain sites. Nolvadex is then initiated, should they experience nipple swelling or sensitivity, at 40mg per day until the symptoms abate, and then taper down 10mg every 10 days to discontinue."
Here is what I'm confused about: does that mean take 40mg per day until the symptoms disappear, than take 30 mg for 10 days, than take 20 mg for 10 days, and than take 10 mg for days?
Or does that mean take 40mg per day until the symptoms disappear, than take 40 mg for 10 days, than take 30 mg for 10 days, than take 20 mg for days, and than take 10 mg for 10 days?
Basically what I'm confused about is this: after taking 40mg per day until the symptoms disappear, do you start out taking 40 mg OR 30 mg for 10 days (and then taper down 10mg every 10 days to discontinue)?
