Out of curiosity, what brought about the whole no edit change? I don't know if it's something you can openly discuss or not, but when others asked I saw answers like "to protect the safety of the board", which didn't really make a lot of sense to me, but then again I'm not always the sharpest tool in the shed.

You have 15 or 30minutes (I can't remember what I set it at) to edit your post once you post it if you want to correct/change something. After that, you can't anymore, so if a member cracks the shits for whatever reason, they can't go back and erase their posts that they contributed in the past, just because they got a hissy fit.
