Ok so I've been hearing a lot about raw food diets lately so I decided to start doing some research. What I found is a bunch of conflicting ideas about the quality and safety of eating raw foods. Some say cooking and pasteurization destroy all the beneficial enzymes and then some say that eating the raw foods leaves you open for disease and bacteria. Now I'm even reading how there are doctors out there who say the bacterias found in raw foods won't make you sick or contribute to disease. I can see making the switch to raw vegetables and stuff very easily but I was just wondering if anyone has tried Raw Milk or has eaten their meat raw? I know bodybuilders back in the day used to drink a ton of unpasteurized milk and claimed they made a lot of gains because of it, dows anyone have any more information about any of this?
