Raw milk

Anyone here drink raw milk?
Does anyone have an online source for good amounts at a good price?

A health store near me sells it, I have gotten hooked on it.
I responded badly to normal milk and have never been an advocate of milk drinking, until I tried raw milk.
I feel good on it, and don't get gassy or bloated or anything like that.

I pay just about $9 a gallon though, and I would like to drink a gallon a day, but that is approaching 10iu daily GH costs right there.

I am only drinking a couple gallons a week at this point.
I am seriously looking into getting my own cow, I have the room for it and my wife wants to start a little farm anyway.

I drink 12 ounces (raw goat milk) a day as part of my first meal. It has helped with a host of stomach issues I had.
Don't know of any on line sources.

I don't think that you are going to have any luck with online sources. There are weird laws regulating raw milk. Your best bet is to find a local farmer or farmers market that has raw grass fed milk.

Exactly, the laws in NA are so backward when it comes to raw milk products. They say it is to protect the consumer from getting sick...what a joke. If that was the case half of Europe would be dead by now as 99% of the milk/cheese products there are from raw milk which is why they taste sooooooo good.

I use Pasture Raised.net,great company out of Pa.,a collective of Amish farms.
They get around the legality of shipping across state lines by having you buy a "token share",$40.00 stock into their farms. Government can't say shit,you can buy real totally grass fed not grain finished beef,dairy products,raw milk,cheese,butter,kefir,ect. The milk prices are $9 a gallon. I've bought from them,well satisfied with the service. Raw milk is liquid white gold lol!

You won't find it much cheaper than $9/gallon. I pay $8.50/gallon and get it straight from the farm. You can try A CAMPAIGN FOR REAL (RAW) MILK! or contact the local chapter leader for the WAP foundation. The Weston A. Price Foundation - Weston A Price Foundation Maybe they can help you out.

Definitely going to become a member. Organic Pastures can't sell colostrum any longer thanks to our "evil empire" of a government basically declaring it a health hazard. Hopefully I can get it through these folks.

Yes, tastes creamier and cleaner. I will never drink any other kind of milk again. Raw is the only way to go. The stuff at the store is more like a milk flavored beverage. Everything that makes milk good for you is destroyed through homogenization and pateurization. It's as much milk as Sunny Delight is orange juice.

i have to rain back to be honest as i would drink gallons and be a fat bloater.

Raw milk contains lactase, which breaks down lactose. You are lactose intolerant because your body does not produce its own lactase. With raw milk, you don't need to, it is 'self-digesting'.

Well, not EVERYTHING is destroyed, but I agree, RAW is better.

Pasteurized milk still contains stable high quality amino acids from CASEIN AND WHEY, and will increase IGF-1 levels. The beneficial enzymes and nutrients are indeed destroyed, although organic pasteurized whole milk still offers advantages over pastuerized skim.
