Ive had this issue on and off since 2005. Majorily in 2005-96 then it cleared up then from 2008-09 I had to fully take off upper body completely for a full year I trained legs only, did abs. This is how I competed, I got back into training and relized how much I missed it and decided to do a show, but thats besides the point

How did I get it better the first time? Active release therapy, I paid well over 1,000 $$ for many, many weeks , driving two hours one way, once a week

well I got it better, then hurt it again, did the ART again and got it better then hurt it again, having to back off, if it wasnt inner elbow it was outer

Im thinking any form of triceps extension is doing it but not totally sure, im definitely watching patterns and being cautious

Im on cycle , using deca and eq, not doing exercises that hurt it, if they hurt I cut them, then a week went by , no pain and I did arms last night, and inflammed, so icing it, doing a technique I learned called ice friction massage, doing fricton massage, massaging it, not too hard, not too soft , its such super frustrating, Im on cycle and have to cut poundage short like today on back bc if it gets above a 6 or 7 on a pain scale of 1-10 I cut it short

Ive learned physical therapy , been through it many, many times with my insurance, payed out of pocket

has anyone figured out something that keeps occurring and what caused it?

I have a few theories and not totally sure on mine, and im testing them.. Im not a theory guy, more of a fact guy, but if this is all i have to work with , ill have to learn theories and just do what works

Check out this Athlean-X video on grip. I had a similar issue last year and kinda figured it out myself. Months later, he posted this and confirmed it for me.

I'm glad you got yours better and thank you for sharing

Definitely trying this and probably incorporating it into my training

IT sounds like your have golf albue
What i did but i still have problems.

I only do Hammer curls
I can do light normal curls with dumbell
Dont do Them to till you fail your rep
I train forarms 3 times a week
Static hold, finger curls. Wrist curls Revenge wrist curls. Reps 8 to 15 reps
Keep IT slow and get a good contraction.
Stay out af failure for biceps curls and forarms
If IT Hurts then stop ord IT Will inflame again

For me IT got Better in the left arm but i still have problems in my right.

Keep Up with the forarms training

Keep Up with the forarms training

The above bolded above I think is a good idea.

Whenever I had problems with the pain as described I train my forearms (extension
and flexation) before curls and triceps training. Worked for me the few times I had
had this sort of problem. My theory is that the pump induced in the forearms acts
as a sort 'cushion'. I could be wrong but it eliminated my pain.

Just keep doing forarms Work 3 times a week.
Does hammercurl Hurt?
IT could be that the forarmwork before biceps hide the pain.

But look Up golf elbow and start today doing the Work IT Will take time and IT may never go away

I had the same problem. Tendons inner elbow hurt like a mf during all pull exercises. Even during normal life (ie pulling on heavy fire doors at work)
But, it all disappeared through four things:
1. Using straps on all excersises that hurt me. Even warmup sets.
2. 2 cycles of 10 days bpc157
3. Cross friction massage
4. Time
All in all it took about 3 months before all the pain vanished.
I feel reborn!

I have a friend my barber who this helped him

I got Mark Bells sling shot Ill have to remember to wear , along with cross fricton that spot in the video with the ring and pinky finger

I practice some of the stuff in the video tonight, in the gym, and it worked

Super helpful Ive been making this thread and erasing it, and so glad I made it

Find someone who can dry needle. Odds are your tricep tendon is pulling on your extensor. It's almost always the tricep long head

Nope ling heads fine I was do behind the head cable extensions and behind the headvtricep extensions up to 25 lbs. Lying tricep extension 15, 20 at most before pain kicks in

It's the two tendons that attach to ring and pinky finger, post number two, video explains it well
