regarding my last thread about Co

I'm not here looking to discuss rec drugs, I'm looking for info on the law cause my brother lives there and got himself into trouble that has cost me money. since I don't have access to a pc on a regular basis at the moment I was looking for some help!

I live in CO and know nothing about Meth laws....but, from reading the papers and seeing the news around here, Meth is the #1 drug that the police and local government have a hard on for. A friend of mine used to hang with the wrong crowd. One of his friends was a meth dealer and was caught with almost 30#'s of the stuff and got handed a life sentence. Sounds weird to me...but not totally unbelievable.

Depending on the amount and if they're willing to cut a deal, I'd say he is still going to be in hot water. They have a new law here too that incurs even more time/ charges if kids are around your lab and such. If he was caught with a personal amount, he's still probably looking at jail time, even if it's a short amount. If he was caught dealing or with a large amount, he may be in for a world of hurt.

Again, I'm no expert...just passing on info that I've heard.

His bonding agent told me 2-32yrs. He said it was personal but I thinks it's enough that there charging him with intent. I like many here at the board wouldn't even com close to this kind of shit and I wouldn't even say a word about it if it didn't hit so close to home. Thanks for the little bit of insight though.
