Repeated shoulder injury and delt training

First, I had a surgery for stetched and frayed ligaments and tendons when I was 15. Most of the pain was actually in a muscle in my back which was in a constant state of tension to hold the unstable shoulder joint together. When I lifted it it would make a pop noise from the joint subluxating slightly but never dislocated.

In the years since (12) it has bee ok but another repeated problem keeps coming up.

Along the shoulder, between the front and medial delt at the very bottom near the brachialis I get a sharp stinging pain that also associates with some light cramping in the same place in my back. It seems to happen every year or so but goes away. It is back now and I just want to try to figure out what is actually going on. I am actually able to lift fine but it hurts when I walk around from day to day so I am watching out and taking a few days off.

From my history and info does anyone have any idea what it could be???

Have the exact same thing as you have. I recently had arthroscopic 'thermal shrinkage' surgery which didn't help a thing. Overhead pressing seems to be aggravating it most so I would definitely steer clear of that. Have done hours of physiotherapy which didn't help anything either, strenghtening rotators doesn't help either.... I honestly don't think there is much you CAN do, rather there are some things you are better off just not doing.

Thank you.

Some celebrex got rid of the pinch pain but from stretching my back out the cramping actually got much worse. When I try to loosen the cramped muscle in my back it gets worse which scares me because I never want to live with this pain 24/7 again, it was maddening Not in intensity but in duration. The shoulder pain does not have the negative psychological impact on me because it has always gone away but the back cramps... just scary
