According to his FB, Phil Hernon has passed away.

Yes he did.. he had been very ill the last couple years but I thought he was improving.. apparently he took a turn for the worst and past away..

Wow, I know he had kidney problems. I thought he was doing ok though. I liked some of the videos he had up. Phil did some coaching with me over the phone and internet. He knew a lot about bodybuilding and had an awesome physique. RIP

Damn, man, it’s starting to seem like it’s just one after another. So incredibly sad. I feel for his family and loved ones. Each time I read about one of these deaths it pushes me more and more towards considering a new lifestyle.

I'm definitely tired of people I look up to dying. It's tough. I'm sure it's orders of magnitude harder for their families and loved ones though, RIP Phil.

Prayers that he crossed the river comfortably to the other side, and especially prayers for his family and friends.

We will all eventually reap the harvest that we sowed in life. The wise man and the fool, the rich man and the poor man sooner or later come to the same end.

But with so many recent deaths in the community, all of us should pay heed to learning any lessons we can from their passing, change what we can in our own lives to extend our time here on Earth for our family's sake, and remember to live out our dreams and enjoy our lives while we still can, because tomorrow is guaranteed to no man.

If not today, nor yet tomorrow, then some other day. But the end is never in question.

The only question is, what do you do with the time you have left?

I learned a lot from Phil. He was also one of the physiques I admired the most. RIP brother in Iron! Thank you for everything you gave to this community and the sport. Too young, too soon...My thoughts and prayers with his family and friends.
