Yeah Lats I saw that also.

They are saying "conflicting reports" as far as him being declared dead. LA sheriffs department said he was dead but those that haven't already said he is dead at least know his condition is critical, he is brain dead and off or will soon be off life support not expected to live much longer.

I had a buddy in Houston who was a limo driver and he had Tom as a client back in the mid 80's, said same thing. He was good people. Never played the "star" card. Very personable.
R.I.P. Tom Petty. Thank you for a lot of great music.

Tom petty...damn that mans songs kick up the nostalgia factor. Whenever I hear one of his songs it reminds me of burning one on the river! RIP!

Yeah, his brain went too long without oxygen. They were able to start his heat beating again but he was pretty much brain dead from what I read. I worry that might happen to me some day. My greatest fear.
