If you walk into a Pharm, they have to give it to you. That goes for all the regular insulins. They are SUPPOSED to do that with the needles too. About 8 years ago I worked at a Wallgreens and I remember a guy raising hell because the pharmacy refused to give him insulin. It was obvious the guy was not using it for "other" purposes. The idiot pharm tech was telling the guy he was not on file or needed some type of verification so they could sell it to him. It turns out this guy was visiting from out of town and dropped his case that holds his insulin and broke the only two bottles he brought. He ended up getting the store manager involved and to make a long story short the girl at the pharmacy ended up loosing her job due to that whole thing because the guy wrote to coporate and they flipped out. I doubt any place would want to face a law suit because the person ends up in a diabetic coma because they didnt sell a bottle of insulin to somebody. I know that you can walk into Sam's Club and go the pharmacy and pick it up no questions asked. You will need a script for Humalog but for R, L, and N you can pick it up for about 22 bucks or so.
