Who doesn't know Sergio Oliva? He's a legend in the sport, and many believe that Sergio Oliva is the reason bodybuilding is the way it is today. We are discussing him on evo, and everyone thinks he's a top 3 bodybuilders of all time. What do you guys think of Sergio?

It's crazy to see how sports progress through the ages and bodybuilding is no different. I think a lot of these guys from the golden era never got enough credit especially Sergio. His shoulder to waist to leg ratio is insane!!.. I've seen a measurement list some where online but not sure of the accuracy.

I follow his son on Facebook and Instagram. Pretty cool kid and has a decent physique. Im looking forward to watching him turn Pro.

The only bodybuilder I am aware of whose arms were the same height
as his head. (It helps to have a small head.)

I have heaps of fotos of Sergio (some rare, some I posted here). And
while I never saw him train I did meet him backstage at a show in
Oakland, CA years ago. (The foulest mouth of any human being I have
ever met.)

I did know (since deceased) the man responsible for getting Sergio
in the best shape of his life. And by his own admission (Sergio’s) the
most honest man in bodybuilding. He walked the talk. Good but
difficult times.

May he rest in peace. Lord knows he had a hard life.

You gotta think these guys didn't have the peptides and im not sure when they started producing hgh but it wasn't to long ago . I know they where using other humans hgh then stopped that and stopped producing it for about 10 years before coming out with synthetic hgh plus they had vet grade anabolics back then if they where lucky no internet connections and easy access like we have today

A truly amazing physique. Not only an amazing athlete, a well rounded business man and extremely well spoken. Listen to a couple of interviews done with him on Youtube. He is extremely well spoken and comes off as very well educated.

He was truly ahead of his time.
