Sex before workouts benificial?

Im not sure about you guys but everytime I bang it out for an hour with my lady
before I hit the gym I feel Iam much stronger, it doesnt seem to work for a quickie like most of you guys do, Im talking about giving her a beatin, when it reaches over 30 mins to an hour my workouts are outta this world:confused: whats the science behind this?
 
me and my one friend have tried to figure this out ourselves, the only thing we can come up with is the endorphins and the possiblity of it raising your hormones, but who knows just a thought
 
Im the exact opposite. I try to avoid sex within 3 hours of training because it absolutly drains me. If I bang in the morning, Im good to go by the evening.

well i know back when i played football the coach said not to, cause you will be tired and run down for the game, i never noticed much of a difference.
 
It feels as if I have a second wind of powerfull energy, not sure why but it definetly has to do with sex, right after sex yes I feel drained for at least 15 minutes then as soon as im on the road heading to the gym I get this second wind thats just not normal its intense, Im starting to think my girl has magical powers lmao, seriously wtf is up with this???
 
I have some of my worst workouts/games when i had sex before. I stay away from it.. unless... well you know how it is sometimes.

Im thinking this is basically due to a "wake up" for you. I bet you would get the same results if you did a little cardio warm up. Actually after a male ejaculates, he releases a large amount of Prolactin which makes men very sleepy and tired. Works differently with women, they actually get a bit of energy after an orgasm. So Vander, uhmmm better post up those nude pics to prove your sex lol

Cant remember where i read it but after a heavy workout your test can raise by as much as 17% .... So you should be doing it after training... think of it as cardio?

hmmm... So, the next time you give me another lame ass excuse for being late for a workout, I can call bullshit! So, VV how does your foot taste? Cause you seem to be putting it in your mouth quite often these days.
 
back in the day when i boxed the coach said no sex for weeks leading up to a fight it takes your leg stamina away from you. i hear him but when i pound the lady in the morning and 3 hrs later i do legs i still squat 500 below paralel

my thoughts:
The purpose of abstaining from sex before competition/fight has more to do with increased aggression from sexual frustration, as well as psychological/focus aspects of not having to deal with it (socially) during intense training (physical/mental) leading up to competition.

Personally, I think sex anytime is beneficial to bodybuilding...raises natural anabolic hormone levels. For me at least, more sex = hornier in general = better workouts.

I started a post one something along these lines a while ago. I suggested that you get aroused in any way necessary, but do not blow your load. THAT is when i have had my best workouts. I think i remember reading somewhere that your hormone levels drop for a few hours after ejaculation.

If i have sex before the gym im WEAK. No, it is not mental or placebo either...its something i realized a long time ago before i ever read about it anywhere.

Maybe the science is that you are trying to assure each and every one of us that you are NOT a two-pump chump?

Seriously, I would think an hour of wailing away would tend to make you more tired. I do remember reading that there are some biological factors that make a person tired after sex. Women, for example, would benefit from remaining in a horizontal position after intercourse from a fertility perspective.

Sex also raises testosterone levels so there might be something there for men.
