Switching from bodybuilding style workouts to CrossFit?

I work in the auto industry and this is just like when you had parking lots filled with new Broncos as far as you could see a few years ago - now there are parking lots like that filled with Teslas and other EVs.
Any insight on kia/Hyundai? I remember hearing how easy they are to steal due to a tik tok video. I would think that would have down stream affects such as insurance rates rising, demand dropping, price dropping, etc. but seems like they are as popular as ever. I know 3 people that have had them stolen surprised it hasn't tanked sales

Kias and hundais are good for target practice. Other than that….trash

Right. They're incredibly cheaply made vehicles and you get what you pay for.

Kia’s and Hyundais’s will always be in high demand. You can’t beat the warranty they offer. As long as they continue to provide that long warranty period they’ll continue to be a hot seller.

According to consumer reports, which is an independent business that tests all sorts of products with a non-biased outlook.

SUV’s - Subaru, Kia, Hyundai, Kia, Honda

Pick up trucks - Dodge Ram is the highest rated, and Nissan is 2nd with Ford coming in 3rd. GMC & Chevy are the worst for everything.

Sedans - Toyota, Kia, Hyundai, Honda

If anyone is in the market for a large expense I’d recommend getting a subscription for Consumer Reports. It’s helped me for the past 10 years or so.

You crack me up. You’ll post a pic of your mom, but not a pic of yourself on here? 🤣

As a side note you are a true adrenaline driven person. Car aside and getting back to your topic- you will get bored of crossfit as well.

Bodybuilding is about learning to channel all that adrenaline into patience that progresses over time. Put it controlled into each workout, each day of eating, etc and one day you wake up not recognizing yourself in a good way.

Learn to become aggressively patient and you’ll be a lot more fulfilled in life.

Enjoy the new car- based on your camera roll we can see you’re super excited by it. 😂

I am more focused now on being functional, strong, and athletic versus being a bodybuilder. Look into Josh Bryant’s Tactical Strongman, and other “tactical” training programs, and watch his recent interview with Dave Tate from Elitefts on YouTube.

Crossfit has a lot of specialized movements that I think can be kind of dumb. Handstand walks, high rep Olympic lifts, butterfly “pull-ups”. Doing that makes you just good at CrossFit IMO

What may be looking for is Strongman training. Becoming more athletic by moving heavy weights around. Farmer walks, sled drags and pushes, OHP variations, sandbag work, medleys and metcons

Thank goodness for your honesty ❤️
You’re a good sport man. Props for that. As far as I am concerned enjoy the hell outta life. It’s short.

You know guys on here are going to give you shit though as this is the most hardcore bodybuilding forum to exist. We are all here for that one reason.

American cars aren’t much better these days. Chevys have tons of problems as do fords abs dodges. No one makes tough shit that lasts . I’m glad I still have my older trucks and cars that never fail me.
I'm no car expert but when I was growing up we were told Toyota and Honda are in a league of their own. Ford trucks durable too. Dodge was supposedly the worst and Volkswagen had electrical problems. I remember when I needed a rental they gave me a Durango recently, had no idea they were around still and if course it broke down lol

Some other cars I never see anymore... Lincoln Continental, town car, Ford 500, intrepid/neon(thank God). Don't really see vw beetle, Jetta, or mini Cooper anymore. No Hummers or broncos, I think I've seen like 2 convertibles in the past year one was a BMW. Seems like there was more variety back in the early 2000s

I’ll regret this

I am confused. Maybe I am mixing up your older posts with someone else. I recall you commenting about AAS a lot before you started posting about watches and cars. Have you ever done powerlifting? Forgetting crossfit how long have you been doing bodybuilding style workouts?

Not only that, but he’s addressed 0 comments actually on topic. Dude just wanted to flex his car.

And randomly just posted another watch in a totally irrelevant thread about Chris Aceto’s son.
He’s here for attention. And he gets it so sticks around. He has no business being a member here IMO.

Nobody else will say it so I will. 😂
