Im 33 and for a couple of years now I have had progressively increasing pain in my right shoulder. Happens mainly when I train chest or do any shoulder presses. It has gotten so bad that Its hard to do benches with even 135 lbs. These are the MRI results I got yesterday and its saying I dont have anything that is torn. What would be the best method of treatment so I can start training heavy again? Im assuming HGH with corticosteroids? The liquid im assuming they are talking about is the Test n Deca I shoot there sometimes.

Might reconsider training shoulders heavy and instead switch to more reps and volume. The shoulder joint is a very fragile and sensitive creature. Even though you didn't do any damage this time (Except for mild bruising) it can happen at any time.

Finding a good active release technique person is important. Good that they also do graston, etc

You could try active release, if you dont see big improvements in 10-12 sessions, ART more than likely art wont work

Hey, this might sound dumb, but I get occasional aches in my front Delts, I've found that stretching my lat completely relieves the pain.

I would strongly consider seeking out a good therapist based on your situation. The fluid in your subacromial bursa, the bursistis, is probably causing the issues with overhead pressing. If you are going to push through it with training I would suggest trying to stay away from over head movements for now and only do pressing movements that you can do without pain. But again I would stress trying to find a good therapist. At this point you have been in pain for a while and a good manual therapist would hopefully be able to help you with both the bursitis and tendinopathy. Also, MRIs provide helpful information, but are not necessarily providing the entire picture in every situation, so again, having a good PT who can actually take a look at it and do a hands on assessment might give you a better idea of how to tackle the issue moving forward. Hope things work out for you!

Do you have DJD in the family?

What hurts and what doesn't hurt in terms of shoulder ROM?
- internal rotation/external rotation
- internal rotation/external rotation @ scaption
- extension/flexion
- adduction/abduction
- horizontal adduction/abduction

Any other exercises hurt besides flat bench and shoulder pressing? Be specific.

Can't expect drugs to make this all better. It's going to take work.

The fluid in your shoulder is not test and deca.

Go see a physical therapist, not a shitty one but a good one. Ask around who good. You can have degeneration or issues if you have imbalances in your shoulder. You don't need to have a tear to have issues.

It hurts pretty much anytime I have to stretch my arms out and put them overhead. I like sleeping with my arms up over my head and I sleep upside down and it hurts at night as well. Keep in mind this isnt excruciating pain but more like a little constant pain that seems to be the worst when I do chest or shoulder presses. Dont feel any pain when I do laterals since my arms arent going up overhead.

Have a similar problem.. Swelling & Inflammation in the shoulder joint, trap muscle, and neck.

Turned out to be a cervical Neck problem! Bulging disc, and arthritis.

Taking animal Flex, and am actually prescribed predisone for it momentarily.

What other herbs, & supps can i use other than tumeric?

I have the same problem. I had my torn rotator cuff repaired three years ago and this hurt more than that ever did. I went and had an mri done about 6 months ago and there was no tear. My ortho says I had an impingement and inflamed bicep tendon. I am a stomach sleeper with the arm overhead and I couldn't do that for a long time. Workouts totally sucked for many months (shoulders and chest). And I can't take anti inflamatory meds becasue of my kidney issues. The doctor put me on a medrol pack instead of the Anti Inflamatory meds, I did not want a steroid shot.
Its about 6 months later and it still hurts some but I can get good workouts in without much of an issue.

I've had the same with both shoulders and have had two operations to shave some bone off to create more space!

I got to the point where I couldn't even do a press up
