The Europa Games out of Texas (Betty Pariso runs it) is a 2 day show they split it up. Its mostly Amateur but I believe she has a couple of pro divisions compete that way. Any BIG pro show I can think of has always been a morning/evening show.
Idk why the change? I hate doing 2 day shows... peaking is much more complicated imo
It's quite simple, apart from the Olympia, is there any other pro show that takes place in 2 days in a row? I don't know of any.
This year's Olympia only had the bodybuilding open on Friday for the prejudging and on Saturday for the final. The rest of the divisions were either on Friday or Saturday. Fitness, Figure, WPD, 212, Classic and WBB were on Friday. MPD, Bikini, Wellness, Wheelchair on Saturday.
In an interview from a long time ago I remember that a bodybuilder emphasized the special factor about the Olympia, of having to maintain the peak for a 2 days. If you say that there are more shows with this particularity, it must be true, but it is far from common.
