Does mast impact free/total test levels on bloodwork? Either the basic assay or the lcms testing methodology?

I was eager to start npp years ago about a month before my yearly blood work. Turns out it was test prop. I would wait until after blood work. My thoughts

If you’re trying to stay undetected I’d wait bro for a multitude of reasons not to mention just the peace of mind. But Mast if test for is easily detected.

Sure it will. You add mast and your total testosterone levels will come back higher.

Yea I paused at thinking maybe they were just testing maybe test to epi and wasn’t sure but it’s fucking mast there’s no way it doesn’t show up on any test for test even an epi/test ratio would get fucked on it.

Currently on 160 test, 200 mast e and have bloods that I need to get done….cbc, cmp, psa, test, and estradiol.

Wasn’t sure if a dht derivative (mast) would show under the basic testosterone testing or not…

I pin daily so I will drop the mast and wait a couple weeks for the blood draw.

I’d expect shbg to be skewed along with lipids just didn’t know how the basic testosterone testing would see it. From what I understand, various compounds can skew test and estrogen levels unless the more accurate lcms screening is used…the basic one doesn’t differentiate and can show higher serum levels. I could request lcms and estradiol sensitive, if that were the case. Otherwise, I will just stick with the (cheaper) basic assay that they request.

For a long time I was on 200 test 200 Masteron and got my bloodwork done and the doc never noticed or said anything

Yeah. I don’t want him giving me any shit about anything. They’re pretty chill, but I also understand that they’re governed by policy that probably scrutinizes patients with significantly elevated blood levels.

I know deca does. I was running 80mg/wk on top of my TRT and I came in around 1300.

I will request the lcms and hope they don’t raise any eyebrows. They also do the basic estrogen test which has shown stupid low e2 levels. I think my last was like 13. I thought they read erroneously high in men, not low but that hasn’t been my experience.

I went back and forth with the lady before my test was order to please change it to the sensitive e2 test. I sent her the codes and links to Labcorp site explaining the difference. I finally gave up and she came back to me with the correct test after I had the other on order already. Like you think they would know this shit.

Hey sounds like you have a good understanding on this subject, more than me ,I'm just telling you some personal experiences i have had. Yes doctors are not always on top of it.

I would think that if the test was a LC/MS/MS that mast would not show up. That is what i have gotten for years and T is all that shows up.

I've seen free T go up and SHBG go down with people using Mast along side TRT.

You can’t tell your taking exactly masteron by bloods but it will skew your bloodwork like all steroids do you can tell by looking at your luteinizing hormone that your taking something extra. Correct me if I’m wrong but your LH numbers will be really off.

How long do you think it may take shbg and lh to come back into range? Will waiting a couple weeks help?

Neither do I. We will find out in 2 weeks, I guess.

I don’t know where shbg should fall during TRT. I only had it tested 2 times last year. First time was with deca in the mix and it was 13.4 and the second was right after my vaca and it was 24.9…my test levels were tanked on this blood draw because I had missed a few shots during my trip.

So I speculate, I will land somewhere between those figures.
