Soft Drinks,,,Look at this!

I just read that. The study was done using sugar sodas though, and I don't know any bodybuilders that consume anything other than diet. However, they did say that caffeine was the major culprit and bodybuilding and caffeine go hand in hand. Makes me want to start using a non-stimulant based preworkout supplement.
 
Ya, I used green tea along with a non-stimulant supp. It does have some natural caffeine, but I feel like it gives me just enough energy and focus for a good workout, plus it has some great health benefits. I usually do 2 tea bags, or you can just buy the extract pills from costco or something. Costco also has good green tea bags, a matche blend which gives a little more energy, check it out.
 
Thanks for that.I managed to quite chewing tobacco,now stopping diet soda is next,ugh always something.after that diet will be in check.

I think green tea would be a good option that way I won't have the withdrawals of caffeine,good idea.
 
Soda of any kind is the absolute worst.
Apologies to any Soda drinker, but this stuff will slowly eat you alive. Soda should have warning labels like Cigarettes and Alcohol.
 
I was a 4 liter a day diet soda drinker for well 12 years? I just stopped two years ago ( wife was concerned) my wife saw this article yesterday and sent it to me with an "I told you so" lol
