He has more top 5 placings at the nationals or USA than anyone. About 11 pro qualifying runs at the NPCs best shows.

and he won his class here before too.. Dont judge him by the weigh in pics.. this is his standard protocol..

He looks good on stage, polished, very complete and very conditioned.. Just enough conditioning.. His last show was 4th at the nationals and really looked great...

Just like Atoyan, he never looks like the guy that can win from the weigh ins .....but always takes a top spot or wins..

I agree with ya Alex...Im just trying to give the no-name guys some pub...LOL !!! I do think LaCount will win the Super's and Rholden will be in the running in the heavy's....I think even our very own shark will do pretty damn good....

sure thing chris, i hear you.. I didnt know shark was in the show....and its not like i know the guy( Abbas) i have met him and talked to him a bunch at the 07 nationals.. hes a nice, cool, easy going guy.. but on stage he takes care of business..
i didnt see his MD video or anything.. i just know when hes in the show, hes a force to recon with.

After viewing all of the competitors pics I'm taking Flex Wheelers pupil Big Keith Williams...............Abbas Katami's upperbody looks subpar but I think Chad Lacount will def. be in the running

my money is on abbas also.. i have seen him go from a lean off season to this insanely shredded beast in no time.. i JUST got a pic text that literally took my breath away.. he took a pic of his quad and i swear there is no skin there its just surran wrap.. hes getting harder and harder in every pic too.. hes got this

He does look good...the only thing I dont like on Keith is his legs need more sweep to them...Ofcourse this is only looking at these pics...On stage things can be totally different...But yeah I like this guy to...Big, freaky and super thick

Lee loox tight, he was a lil watery down here but looks like he dried out a bit. My coach JW is there also, lookn to rebound from a depleted look at masters to more of a full look. I hope they both do well!

Abbas is one seasoned NPC competitor and knows how to dial in for a big show.. hes proven that countless times....... and he is far from his best at these weigh in pictures trust me. He is one of those guys that dials in for the show... on the day hes supposed to be ready her will be ready.

He has been around a long time and his placings prove he is worthiness... Dont get me wrong,

Im not his buddy, you know him much better than me. I just like his complete look that he brings to the stage and I know he can dial in for the show much better than these weigh in photos..

I pretty much think that the best guy on stage that day should win .. Not looking to his future and what he can do in the sport after he turns pro..

Honestly few guys of late have turned pro and really been warriors on the pro stage. There are a few..... but most start back on the bottom tier..

You have to admit once many of these guys turn pro, they will never place first again.. Their best days and memories were winning in the amateur ranks.. and i dont see nothing really wrong with that either.. just my opinion.

If he could bring his calfs up that little bit more and get a bit dryer he'd be unstoppable at that size.

he's a mass monster but doesnt totally gross you out with the look
