This is sad but true. It doesnt take long for stereotypes to form. Much of the public assumes that anyone that bodybuilds and has a decent physique is using steroids. This may or may not be true. Plenty of stereotypes out there already and we certainly dont need more.
A long time ago when I told my doctor I was taking steroids he asked me if I wanted an AIDS test. Guess he assumed I was sharing needles or that I was gay.

So true! My dad always had this attitude, as well!

So, it's not hard to see why us straight guys would be concerned about this type of publicity, eh?

Oh sorry, I thought that was from abusing drugs.

Im not mocking, mind you but it is interesting that the average person never comments on the rampant drug use of recreational, competive and professional bodybuilders, they do however have endless comments about how all the gay for pay is ruining this once glorious sport.

Did anyone ever stop to think that maybe this guy is gay? and he found a way to make some money and have some fun in the mean time? but because he reached a certain level in an otherwise unrecognizable sport to the world and decided to compete once or twice a year somehow he has been binded to a strict moral code that a certain few people have invented?

It's not just bodybuilding mate. People do sad and desperate things in all walks. That said, I hope I don't have any nightmares about anything I have viewed in this thread.

the plain and simple fact is that we have men with great physiques parading around and this , in turn, attracts the gay populous.. it is nature.. good lucking women parading around in thongs attracts the men.. simple attraction.. and if you think some of these swim suit comp models, fitness models ect ect arent taking cash to pose for schmoes your crazy.. this happens.. and all the time.. so, like my father used to say, " it is what it is and no more"..
