this is Testex. Why the pharmaceutical house put Benzil benzoate with long carbon chain ester? they put 10% BB (0,1ml for each ml), but I think that for TA isn't the same... Can't believe that more than 10% BB is needed in TA

There are a number of reasons why BB was used in this particular application.
Most likely the main reason is to help prevent pain in the injection site. BB keeps the test from cystalizing in the injection site.
