To whom it may concern,
We apologize for having to inform any who care to know of this particular occurance however, because we strive to operate with honesty, integrity and without discrimination, we have encountered scenarios in which we have not made friends.
Some one or some organization has informed the DEA that SRCS was performing illegal anabolic steroid analysis. We have always maintained and kept current our DEA license for controlled substances and were under the apparent misaprehention that the analyses we have been performing were totally legitamate, well within the scope of the law and a service to the supplement industry. Whether or not the warrant that was served on SRCS was granted under false pretenses, we were raided on October 25th, 2007 by agents from several agencies including DEA, State Commerce Comission, and local law enforcement who over the course of the day cloned our computer hard drives, confiscated most all of our retained samples as well as our analytical and financial records for the previous five or more years. Any and all documentation and records we had pertaining to samples received, email and personal financial information, client lists and standards lists were confiscated and will be reveiwed extensively by whomever the DEA deems worthy. We voluntarilly surrendered our controlled substances license and will no longer be capable of providing analysis for the aforementioned substances.
Because of the total confiscation of all our documentation, the production of timely requests of analyses in progress will be affected negatively. We will do all we can to get back up to speed and mimimize to the best of our ability any interruptions in service for "non-regulated" substances as soon as we can.

We apologize deeply for any inconvenience and negative impact this will have.

This is sad. They are taking no prisoners. The people the feds are going after are hard working americans, who are trying to improve there lives physically. People who are doctors, attorneys, law enforcement, jail gaurds are some who I know have chosen to "improve" their lives.

We go out of our ways to protect ourselves from the negative side effects, and we are constantly discussing amongst ourselves the quality of the products we put in our bodies to be sure we are not doing damage.

Fast food has killed more people than any of the "supplements" we choose to ingest. Obeisity is an epidemic, go after the fatso's, they are raising our health care, and insurance costs more than we could ever!

We dont rob,cheat, or steal to get our fix.

Big government is getting bigger. There are soooo many other things in the nation right now that should be bigger issues. Soooo many other drugs that should be bigger issues. It is so f'ing frustrating.

It's possible oldfella but the more I think about this, the more I think it's much less complicated than everyone is making it out to be. Just look at the DEA. To them, they're just doing their jobs. They're not innocent either though because each and every one of those agents has the ability to see what they are doing to people in many cases is flat out wrong. I've thought about this a lot and I don't think it's a push by big pharma. Even if they completely wipe out the black market, doctors aren't going to prescribe that stuff. My own doctor, an endocrinologist, prescribed me 200mg testosterone enantherate (that's right "enantherate"). And that's exactly how he pronounced it too! Doctors don't know. It will be decades before the stigma disappears, if ever.

Personally, I think what's happening with the DEA now is what happened with the IRS a few years back before someone had to pull back the reigns on their authority. I mean, they were violating rights left and right. Confiscating property and invading privacy, etc. The DEA has almost unlimited power. Look at that notice from SRCS. They weren't doing anything illegal. Someone just fingered them as being an "inside source" or something and it was enough for the DEA to get a warrant and they went in there and took and did anything they pleased. Computers, samples, equipment, everything. Now it's time to pull back the reigns on the DEA same as they did with the IRS. Before that can happen though, everyone whose rights they violate has to get together and form some kind of class action. They have to start to complain and make some noise. Get a few people who were innocent whose rights were violated to go on 60 Minutes and tell the world exactly what the DEA did to them. I don't think the owners of SRCS will benefit from calling the police to say that the DEA is violating their rights. The other problem is that everyone hates tax collectors (the IRS). The DEA doesn't have the bad rep that the IRS has. The DEA is here to rid the galaxy of evil. Oh yeah, and make a lot of busts so that people get re-elected and promoted too, etc.

And do you think the agents don't get off on walking in a place flashing warrants and badges and lights and acting like their on CSI Miami? They LIVE for that shit you can bet on it. There is a lot of untapped money out there. I mean given how widespread use is, users number in the millions and that's only in the US that these big companies are not looking at the big picture here and applying pressure? This scenario has been played out with other things in the past. Dry up the supply, create the demand and then fuel the market. First they feed the govt funds to bust up as much of the UG as thye can. Then they keep the market hungry while they push more buttons in the govt to legislate diferently on trt, hrt, anti-ageing medicine (hgh) and other script items like some of the ancillaries we use which are also script items. All the while they ramp up supplies to feed the new market. Now I'm not saying that scripts will flow like beer from a keg, but I can see the grip being loosened somewhat! They were all selling products that were in direct competition with the american pharmaceutical companies. For example, with Jintropin off the american market now(they are still selling to other countries, just not USA) many people are going to be forced to pay more for the american pharmaceitcal companys products. Another example, take the anti-aging pharmacy in Brooklyn that was busted. They were using powders from china to produce their GH. Once again, people that were using China powders are going to be forced to used something else. Also take notice how all the UG labs were busted, but for some reason all the sources that were selling legit human grade pharmaceutical products(i.e. Schering, Organon, etc..) via domestic remailers were all left alone. Sure, I know. I'm not saying I know everything either. But it needs to be discussed. Prominent people need to write articles in venues with high circulation. People have to start to talk about and get things out in the open. I see 30 names down at the bottom of this thread and nobody saying a word. Why is that? I'd like to hear what others have to say. Not just "this sux!" though but some real ideas. I don't adhere to the idealistic notions of my youth that I would change the world but I do still believe that people (plural) can. Sounds like NOAH is a real work of bureaucracy. They should have called it "NOAH Rights For Anyone".

I see no signs. I see doctors reluctant to even prescribe the drugs you're talking about. You think people that were ordering Jins from China are going to go to their doctor now and get a script? Go try to do that and see how easy that is. And that's not going to change anytime soon. Everyone wants to think this is a conspiracy when I think it's just simply another government agency gone out of control inside a government that is more and more about control (i.e. PATRIOT Act). For the last couple of years, Australia Police has that power just on 'suspicion'. They don't even have to charge you, never mind convict you.
If I don't like my neighbour, I can call the cops and tell them that he's a drug dealer. Just on that phone call, they can raid him, take ALL his posetions (properties, cars, etc) as 'proceeds of crime', destroy his life, and at the end of it all not even charge him. And then it's up to him to prove in court that all his property was lawfully obtained and fight to get it back.

5-6 years ago nobody knew about San Raf.
Then it was all over the boards. They hit a cash cow-simple want a place to test the potency or ID your juice? San Raf is your man. Hell I think they were even actively posting on the boards and "sponsored" a few. Good way to get yourself fked.
Nobody ratted them out the FEDS read these boards plus they probably found evidence of them on computers they seized.

Think about what they have know thousands of names and instances of people paying for their drugs to be analyzed.

We can bitch and moan all we want about it but it's not going to change. The laws in this country are going to get stiffer -next year there will be another revision of the anti-steroid control act adding more things to the list and longer sentenceing and dosing guidelines.

And for those thinking big pharma is yanking the FEDS or lobbying them in some way to do this, they couldn't be more wrong.
There will be no lax in the laws for anti-aging use for GH and test, it's illegal. period. Anti-aging isn't defeciency. A lot of loop holes were closed with the compounding pharmacies. They weren't selling Sero GH and Upjohn test for the most part they were selling (generic) china GH and compounded test and capsules.
While the HRT market is huge for non lifters there still is no real money to be made, no cliche, no patent nothing special so Joe Pharma can jack up the price. Upjohn is $130 a vial. If they had a patent on it, would be $2500 a vial if not more.
Also it cost a lot of money to regulate and market a controlled substance-sometimes more trouble than it's worth for a company with security and accountability and traceability procedures.
Trust me the last thing big pharma is worried about is steroids. I have worked in the industry for over 15 years and they only go after things that can be patented and are "block buster" drugs tagged billion dollar drugs.
It's sad we are where we are, I am at the age where I would like to anti-age go to a doc and get monitored and scripts and be legit, but it will never happen.
He'll give me an anti-D, a pill to sleep, a pill to eat my liver up while lowering my cholesterol or a pill to counter high blood sugar while damaging my heart but won't give me something that will extend both my life quality and length wise.
