Stress Fractures?

i just recently got bone scan and xrays done on some shin splints i was getting, doc said before it could be stress frac or just muscle, i was sprinting couple times a week before, anybody ever got them checked out, any stress fracs anywhere else on body for anyone else? hope its nothing,
 
My training partner often gets forearm pain, when curling heavy, skullcrushers, anything that puts direct weight on his forearm. He says it feels like its in the bones, becuase his muscle can handle it, and he can handle the weights. I wonder if he has ever gotten his checked out.
 
I had stress fractures in both of my forearms. They obviously hurt, but I'd take some Advil, slap on some Icy-hot and go to work. It wasn't until I did some preacher curls that I realized that the pain was unbearable. After the x-rays, I just tried to stay in the best shape I could until they healed, but it was a huge step backwards in the process - a necessary step, though. You should get it checked out so it can be taken care of quickly - even though it's a slow way to heal. It did give me time to work on other aspects of training - that's where my calves developed.

I was doing weighted dips, and i felt extreme pressure and pain in both my forearms, i'm about 280-290 on any given day and added 55 pounds, so 345 pound dips=bad. So 2 days later i am trying to do preachers, and i had to reduce the weight by 35 pounds due to pain. And right now they just ache. I think i fractured em. This sucks!
