gotta friend who is doing her first figure comp and wants to use t3 to help lean out. but she has as an elongated QT(arrythmia) and is not sure if its ok for her to use. i told her i would do some research and put a post up to learn a little more. please, people only who truly know "answer", answer the question -i dont need someones opinions-we dont need her in the hospital or worse!! thanks for the help guys

Honestly, I think the best/safest thing for her to do would be to talk to her doctor.

I would tell her no. Run a google search on T3,,,check out a PDR if you have access. I would advise for her to proceed with caution if she does try.

Absolutely not!! and heres why:

T3-induces tachycardia, Long QT syndrome causes heart to take longer to recharge itself between beats, causing abnormal cardiac rhythms that predisposes to syncope without warning, dizziness, palpitations, seizures and sudden death.

Most likely your friend is on beta blockers to control heart rate...the t3, in sufficient dose will counter act the beta blockers leaving her vulnerable to the complications that arise from a prolonged QT segment

Hell, i'd limit the caffeine and any other beta agonists as well, such as ephedrine and clen.
