T3, T4 and thyroid

If it happens that T3 and T4 mess up with my thyroid am I more likely to have an over or under active thyroid function?

Thyroid action is quite unpredictable, t3 is more heavy on it for function modification than t4, the rebound happens fast: usually it starts working in an hyperactive fashion two weeks after t3/4 cessation, but I'm not sure if this hyper-acting may resolve in an exhausting effect on the gland or simply it return to normal function with no trouble. One thing is clear: if you naturally tend to hypotiroidism this will make the course of your thiroid shotdown faster.
