The whole "tapering" thing is interesting. Back 20+ years ago when I first got into supps, everybody tapered. I remember when I did my first test cyp and winny cycle, the deal was to start off with a higher dose, and then taper down for 8 weeks. This was way before anyone (at least that I knew) had even heard of anti-E's, dht issues, etc.
Then there was a period where eveybody poohpooed tapering, and of course we are much farther along now with dealing with sides and PCT concepts, "jump start" etc.
Lately I do see some people more or less advocating tapering in the "old" sense. We all know that some stuff like test cyp or e, or deca, stay active in your system for longer periods, and some things, like test prop, or most orals, are short acting. It seems like the "tapering" concept is itself going through a cycle, and coming back somewhat into use. However, I seem to have always done better when I do some tapering, even with "long acting" stuff. Maybe it's all in my head.
