Well guys its Tax Season so if any of our wise members have any tips to help get the most money back POST EM UP

If you use your cell phone for work you can write it off...if you are like me and work 2 jobs you can write off the miles between both jobs....

no shit... this is the first year i have to pay in. $80, not a lot of $ but last i got $600 back and i didnt even get a raise last year??? i guess there were some changes in the tax laws, idk. so, in effect, i got a pay decrease. fckn great.

Students are getting a nice big refund this year based on a couple of things.......

You can now take up to 4 years of the Hope Credit

If you bought a new car last year you get a credit

There is an additional 400 credit available for students as well besides the Hope Credit

I let an accountant do mine this year because there was just too much to deal with. This is the biggest return I've ever gotten. I'm paying off my credit card and then I'll be debit free. That's a damn good feeling.

by new car, do you mean brand new or can it be a used car?

it has to be a brand new car and you can write off the sales tax and excise tax thats it

so.......i save all my gas recipts
600 a month
i see about 1/3 of that
bout 2500 bucks
