Test E for HRT + bodybuilding benefits?

okay, been doing some research and spoke with a very experienced trainer and grear guy here. he told me it would be o.k. to start an 8 week cycle of Test E (he checked my gear and confirmed that it is good and has seen it before). he recommended 250mg per week. i want it for self-administered TRT to inhance quality of life at age 44 and to get SOME benefits for my 5xweek bodybuilding. i trying to get my diet assessed to really dial it in. i'd like to lower my bodyfat and keep my muscle, perhaps gain 5lbs of muscle. i don't want to do 300-500mg per week for several reasons. So, given this info:
1. i don't need an anti-estrogen at this dosage, do i?
2. how long should i be off the cycle?
3. trainer and others recommended that i have some form of PCT. there seems to be alot of Nolva versus Clomid. Trainer suggested some Nolva.
4. i already have some male pattern baldness. i had a prescription for Finesteride but andro/endo specialist told me to stay away from it. he told me to use topical. i read that there is another one--something like Dusteride (sp?). will the Test E at 250 cause hair-loss or is this just at higher doses?

You're talking about doing an 8 week test cycle at 250 mgs EW. That is not TRT. You want to do a short light cycle to gain a little muscle and lose fat. Well, first of all 8 weeks is too short. I would do 12 at least. You will probably see some gains from 250 mgs a week. Lowering your bodyfat comes from dieting, not AAS. You need to do more research.

Good points but I know I just read a research article that proved that on average, higher test levels correlated to lower body fat percentages e.g. older men first starting trt noticed an increase in lean muscle mass and a decrease in body fat in addition to increased sex drive as well as an effective treatment for depression.

the decrease in body fat while on test comes from the increased muscle. the more muscle you have ther more fat and you burn at rest. it has to do with the number of mitochondria(i didnt even come close to spelling that right) but the hair loss is a genetic thing, its different for everyone. as for 250mg/wk thats fine for trt but trt is a long term thing. what your talking about is a short cycle with a long ester test...not the best way to go. as for nolva or clomid. ALWAYS have them on hand whenever using any type of AAS. you do need to do more research, the search button on here is your new best friend.
