It depends on how it is stored ,preferibly in a cool place with no sunlight and if it has an adequate amount of ba to prevent bacterial growth.

IF stored in dark,,cool,,dry environment it will last many years past expire date on bottle.

Just a guess, but 3-5 years. Figure most stuff you buy is good for 3 years and most things are still good a year or two later. Making it at home is just the same as buying premade goods. Does a cake you bake last longer than one you buy?
