Got this article on another board. Great article and sort of sheds light on which direction everything is going to start heading. Bottom Line: MONEY! The supplement market is huge and the pharmaceutical companies want a piece. It wouldn't suprise me at all if the big pharmaceutical companies are lobbying for all these busts so they can capture an even larger part of the market.

There is no money in testosterone, as has been discussed in other threads. GH might be another matter.

I don’t know for a fact, but if there was no money in it per say than we wouldn't see banners on most boards regarding OS companies. There is money in testosterone because it is the foundation of most if not all cycles. How much I don't know????????????Yes you are right that GH is the money maker. I wouldn't say that testosterone is a non-money maker. It may not make you millions, but you could make a decent living distributing it. Once / if it becomes legal and regulated and eliminates the black market then yes the profits may drop. But until then there is always going to be a demand. If there is a demand and it is illegal, than you can make money at it.

An argument could be made towards prescription drugs. These are regulated and are not cheap. Maybe cheaply made, but by no means cheap on the wallet.

Looks like a pretty good market for profit to me. $500 million dollars and it double in 5 yrs, and it looks to be growing at an even faster rate now.

I was going to say this, but I didn't want a comment of "I disbelieve the article", so I took a different approach. The prescription market of testosterone is going at a fast rate. If pharmaceutical companies are able to lobby and get it under control and legalized; it will be even bigger. Especially since a study has proved that men over the age of 35 have a lower test rate of men 30 and 40 years ago.

There is no patent on testosterone. Generics are already available. And it's not approved for prescription for cosmetic purposes. Neither is GH. And neither has been widely used for any reason for many years. $500million? That's nothing to a pharmaceutical company even if it quadrupled, you'd have to divide that up over dozens of generics. Forget it. Big pharma doesn't care shit about a little 500m dollar market. It's just the DEA doing their job and it's really not a "crackdown" if you consider that up until a few months ago, people were talking about their orders and usage right here on this board and all over the internet. Someone from the DEA just decided, "You think maybe we should try and arrest these people?"

We practically dared them.

It would have been no different had people been selling pot online to be ordered domestically and internationally with advice on use and where to get supplies, etc. Sponsors offering it to everyone... Quality and packaging openly discussed...
