Oh man , thanks Chris.. I just got back from the hospital I was there since Friday night about 2hrs after this post .. I got a skin infection ( cellulitus ) around April 5th , I didn't know at the time what it was tryed home remedies such as epsom salt baths , arnicare cream , motrin , ice , heat etc... I pushed through daily doing my cardio , training , diet , supps etc... I pushed through alot of pain but finally Saturday ( April 10th ) I went to the walk in clinic and doc said a bad case of cellulitus and i was given bactrim for 10 days .. Well it still hurt a ton over the course of the next days but I still did everything in my prep the cellulitus was clearing but shifting to 1 side into a ball or lump what have you the size of an orange . We went after chest and abs training to walk in clinic , I was praying the whole time this wouldnt stop my prep I was looking my absolute best ever and had over 4 1/2 weeks left . I get there and they tell me its a bad abcess and needs to be cut and drained right away , so they gave me local numbing agents which didn't work really I felt it all and cut it opend he said it drained over 200cc's of puss . He then packed it and wrapped and said come back tomm for re-check and re-packing . I went in the AM and they said I needed to go to ER as I was bleeding more than I should so we drove to ER and they took me in fast track center and said no biggie just packed it wrapped and said stay on bactrim and come back sunday for re pack . That night after I posted here I started bleeding everywhere and draining like crazy , my wife said we needed to go to ER right away ... They took me in and gave me saline , and somthing 7x stronger than morphine , as the doctor packed 4 yards of packing in there and I got a MRSA test and ultra sound to make sure no blood clots where there . Then was put in a room and given anti-biotics 2x a day everyday I was there each lasting 3 hours . My packing was changed 2x a day there everydayas well , as I was about to be discharged this AM they were re-packing it and AGAIN it was bleeding they found the doctor cut an artery when he did the cut and drain . A surgeons assistant came up said it shouldn't be an issue though 3 doctors were freaking saying I needed to stay and wait in the morning for the surgeon to see if it needed to be zapped or stitched . She said it just needs pressure and packing and she zapped it with a silver nitrate which bascially is a temporary cauterize and she said I should be good as well as other nurses so I dis-charged myself .. It's been crazy and to think I was so close to stepping onstage and going through my days 110% and this happend I could of never imagined ...
