I just wonder if taking vit k and natto might cause u to strip too much out of the arteries etc…? I wonder because if i take straight up natto more than a few times per week i get nosebleeds…. No idea why but i dont want to be taking a bunch of stuff that may dissolve a bunch of stuff and eventually cause me to either bleed out from not knowing i had something in there or it causing something to get dislodged and then cause other issues…
Im not an expert but I dont think thats the way it works. If that were of any concern they would likely warn people if it were even available at all.
DC/Dante swears by Natto as have a few doctors I know for what its worth.

I would personally be more concerned about the calcification of arteries before I would be concerned K2/Natto may work too well. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah that makes sense i need to go get my calcium score done and then decide on k2 and natto route

I just had mine done last week. I will give this a 12 week run along with a few other heart health supps and post up if it made any difference or not. I dont know how long you really need to run it to see a potential reversal. Then again, I ran anabolics for the past 20 years so I think I may need to be more patient than 12 weeks but if it shows some positive change I will have an idea the direction im heading is useful. If not, I will keep trying and post up regardless.
 
The only problems are the median age for the individuals in this study (65.3 yrs old) and "at low risk for CVD", neither of which describes BBers, PLers, PED users, or gym rats. So very few studies on it.

Results: After median 3 years of randomized treatment, annualized rate of change in CIMT and CAS did not significantly differ between nattokinase supplementation and placebo. Additionally, there was no significant effect of nattokinase supplementation on blood pressure or any laboratory determination.

Conclusions: Results of this trial show that nattokinase supplementation has a null effect on subclinical atherosclerosis progression in healthy individuals at low risk for CVD.

One thing I think needs to be listed here are supplements since this thread is about being proactive. Some actually have an acute effect while others are more for long term health.
Yes, that's correct! It is important to consult with healthcare professionals before taking any supplements, as some may interact with other medications or have adverse effects on certain individuals.
 
I don't look at health from a longevity standpoint, I look at it from a quality of life standpoint. Of course I hope to have a somewhat long life...mid to late 80's sound good from where I'm at now but that's just a guess. I might hit the 80's, be in damn good shape and say, I hope I have another 20 in me as long as the quality is there!
I understand, but this may also help if you're looking for a quality of life standpoint taking supplements can vary depending on the individual's needs and health goals. For some individuals, taking supplements may help improve their overall health and well-being, which can lead to a better quality of life. For example, individuals who do not consume enough fruits and vegetables may take a daily multivitamin to ensure they are getting all of the necessary vitamins and nutrients.
 
Six months ago I posted labs in here. Dr wrote script for crestor. Go back in one month for labs again. Blood pressure was 155/90 and said that's not bad. Asked him for blood pressure med and that was his response. Thing is I've been on trt three weeks , and before this was on cycle and it was 200/105 at dentist . I do seem to have doctors scare where it goes up when going to Dr . On cycle used Cialis 5 mgs daily , asked him for this , he said it's easy to get addicted to Cialis. Anyways still opting for blood pressure meds.

As far as creatinine, bun being high, these are high with people with more muscle mass. African heritage creatinine reads higher than caucasians , generally. Anyone with a lot of muscle causes creatinine to read high.

Ldl is what's high. Crestor lowers ldl and triglycerides. My triglycerides are low and always have been.
 
This is another very helpful supplement for arterial calcification. DC says and some studies also say you can reverse calcification taking this twice daily over an extended period of time. I will try and let you know as I will be doing a lot of testing in the coming months. Im guessing they will want to put stints in me and some surgery but thats only speculative right now.

ADK/ Vitamin K2
If true, and from what I've read, it is, then the (D3+K2+ALA/R-ALA+DHA+nattokinase) would be a boss cardioprotective stack. But I would look at your existing meds first because it may interfere with your existing cardiovascular protocol. Definitely going to work these in.

Sure. I’m highly inclined to say your nosebleeds are not likely caused by the Natto, at least not solely. I would suspect vasodilators, pde5 inhibitors, or hypertension to be the cause before Natto. Neosynephrine nasal spray should help constrict the blood vessels. Stay away from oxymetazoline and flonase if you keep having nose bleeds.

Gave blood yesterday. Blood pressure was good it was like 128 over 84 or something like that. I did take a sleep medication the night before something I rarely take so maybe the improved sleep helps some regardless happy that these numbers came out. Iton was 15.5 which was surprising. Usually higher makes me think Deca and masteron together doesn't raise iron as much. On about a 200 to 300 masteron and 1,000 mg Deca cycle, been on about a month we'll be on another 2 weeks .

This was a low dose study of 2000FU that failed to show benefits. Here is a more recent study where a high dose of 10,800FU was used that showed AMAZING benefits, with no safety concerns.


"In summary, our data from this largest clinical study involving 1,062 participants suggest that NK at the daily dose of 10,800 FU, which is higher than the recommended dose of 2,000 FU, is significantly effective in the management of atherosclerosis progression and hyperlipidemia. No adverse effects associated with the use of NK is observed. The study advances our understanding of the action of NK and the importance of the dosage of NK. We also demonstrate that other factors, including lifestyle and co-use of vitamin K2 and aspirin, could contribute positively to the clinical outcome. Our findings provide evidence that promising and positive clinical outcome in the management of atherosclerosis progression and hyperlipidemia can be achieved safely by using NK at a dose of 10,800 FU per day."
 
Blood pressure is often over looked by newer lifters and really important to take care of.
 
It seems to me if blood pressure and glucose levels are controlled many of the biggest health concerns can be kept at bay more easily.
High glucose levels can lead to higher blood pressure over time.
