At the end of Feb I was weighing 340lbs. I dropped about 10lbs for a meet I did at the beginning of March. Now I'm down to 295. The loss wasn't as brutal as I thought it would be. I hate the sound of "diet" but all I really did was clean up what I was eating, limit the amount of calories, and my very physical job took care of the rest. The first 40lbs came off within about 8wks. Now things have slowed down so I'm just tightening up the diet a bit to keep things going. During this time I have not used any type of diet supplement or drugs to promote this weight loss.
Now I have more energy than I've had in years. I can work 10-11hrs/day, train, help my son with baseball, walk the dog, mow the lawn, etc. and not even bat an eye. For awhile it was all I could do just to work and train. No more need for BP meds either. The goal is to be @275-285 w/10%bf all the time and compete at 275.
