Considering it was the very end of a hour and a half workout back/delts....not alot lol. I think it was like 5 plates on the shrug bar........shrugs are one of those exercises where i dont feel like its anything to brag about weight anyway...its what, a 2 inch range of motion at best haha.....i could care less as long as im feeling it....

Overall its all good just curious thats the type of person that i am. I like the dedication and discipline. Have the same mind frame when it comes to truly hard work outs...

Im not posting any full body pix any time soon haha, but il throw up some fun stuff here and there approaching my shows! I figure i do this for FUN first and foremost, so fuk it...why cant this be enjoyable. Im enjoying my diet (learned alot of diff ways to make food tastey and am dieting on ALOT more calories than usual and its working BETTER), enjoying my training, enjoying my life, saving money, contemplating a move to somewhere really nice, girls great.....so lets have some fun.........

Here are some pix i took today during my back workout.........and a vid at the end of me doin shrugs (i was flattening out at this point after a 1.5hr workout of back n delts, but you can get a clear look at how things are coming along condition wise and development wise.....9 weeks out and counting!

True, but tomorrow is a day off from the gym so it will have its rest (im usually 3 on 1 off, and when i train really hard il do 2 on 1 off). I also take a good amount of EFA's (wide range of Omega 3/6/9), Animal Pack Multi (very strong), and also take an INTRA workout drink of 10g EAA's, 10g BCAA's, 20g whey hydro, some WMS (30-60g depending on bodypart), 5g Beta Alanine, and 5g creatine gluconate. I dont think my CNS is takin TOO much of a beating, plus i LOVE to train....its fun :D
 
Looking good, lean and vascular...very good my friend, when is your show???

First one is in 9wks. Looking at my progress pix, im about where i was last year at 5wks out....and i had slightly striated glutes last year....still could have been a little leaner and ALOT dryer....which i plan to correct this year!

My lats go SOMEWHAT low, but do not insert into my hips like Phidias (look at his picture above your post :eek: ) ....i just know how to pose it and develop it to best of my ability. Work hard on lower lats, and when you hit a lat spread hook thumbs a little lower than lats insert and pull that area in hard when you bring your hands forward!
 
great pics man. Your looking lean for 9 weeks out. But I just have to say. You kinda look like the lead singer from maroon 5....... but jacked up. Now everytime i read one of your posts I will be thinking of that song they had a year or so back " she will be loved". The video had kelly preston in it. John travolta's wife. :D
 
From your video.....

Looks like your front delts over power your chest a little bit. You said you were having trouble developing your chest, maybee when your press, the front delts and triceps are taking the majority of the load. My training partner used to look like this to the extreme. He has a massive bench and delts but small pecs.

Chest is slowly but surely improving thanks to some great advice here on the board to start doing dips, and thanks in huge part to Emeric for sending me his program i have been using especially on chest....

Delts have always been a strong point for me....yes i know i look like an ape with my huge front delts haha....i try not to even touch them! I rarely train shoulders, but someone on here suggested i make them freaky for the shows i plan to do this year, so i better up my game on everything else as well!

Thanks for the kind words everyone, i always strive to make improvements from year to year, and so far i have done that pretty well. Im just inspired by alot of you guys on this board and what you have all accomplished and your love for the iron game. Part of my motivation is to make you guys proud ;) even tho i havent met most of you, i hope i get to eventually meet a good amount of you guys some day.

Maybee just side lateral and rear lateral raises, no pressing for your shoulders?

Or Behind the Neck presses only to, keep front delts out of it.

I love to lead with a heavy rear delt or side delt lateral motion and superset into a press to really overload the muscle group. If i press heavy, you are right, behind the neck only...
