Was conditioning in the 90's better than todays?

Insulin can destroy a physique if you try to feed the slin i stead of use according to your macros

Personally im not a fan but i belive is mostly has to do with genetics

Im like roman , every trainer i have talk to all say to me if i go on slin ill look like a pro and blow up

But isn't it all about doses? Did ifbb pro use 20-30iu back then? You write that a minimum of 6 IU was used, and how much was the maximum? The higher the dose, the greater the water retention. And what is important, large amounts of diuretics were used back then, which was mentioned here by a few people. Today, fortunately, this trend has decreased significantly.
I was using 30iu/day. I was simply copying what all the local competitors were doing.
 
In reply to above. This was 1994. I was still 19yo. Yes, I was smooth, but since I came off a winning streak of multiple shows, I slacked off for this one. I was lucky that the competition was weak.
I remember being on about 8IU of HGH plus lots of gear (no tren though - we all considered it the big boy drug).

By 1996, I was using 30IU/day GH and 12IU Hum-R twice a day. By 1997, diets would only happen with DNP. At 400mg/day of crystal, not that weak shit powder that you see around now.

Which removes the argument of insulin is the culprit of the difference in today’s guys.
I still don't believe it is anything but laziness in the open bodybuilding. 212's and Classique all use just as many drugs. But they all have the death face and have the same conditioning as the 90's.

I've cued this to start where Justin Harris explains why guys in the 1990s weren't as lean as most believe and why guys today weigh more but aren't as big as guys in the 1990s - he says GH is the big differentiating factor.

He hits the nail on the head.

Thin skin theoritically means what to you bro?

I watch alot of plastic surgeons and when they talk about nose surgery, they talk about thick skin being prelavent in say latinas whereas asian thin skin.

I dont think this is the same meaning in bodybuilding. Because everyone can theoritically achieve thin skin?

Big difference in what surgeons call thick/thin skin and bodybuilding. My urologist claimed that I have thick skin on my scrotum - I don't know what that means since I never compared with someone else, but it feels pretty thin to me.

If you are on stage and you claim that you have "thick" skin, you are simply still fat.
