Francis. Physiques like that are long gone, and that is too bad. Even the guys today who we say are old school, not mass monsters etc, still don't achieve a look like that. That is an era long gone.

Think he is 47 now and still looks terrific. Still has the proportions and taper that many don't have today.

if you have seen francis lately, he is actually bigger and better than back then.. and at 47 years old.. he says he plans on being 210 to 215 pounds this year competing.. considering that he weighed 170 back then.. i would say major gains..

Couldn't disagree more. Pushing 50 and 40+ pounds heavier than in that pic, his physique will look terrible.

It's become a joke with the size game and how terrible the physiques look. Jay Cutler's head doesn't even look like a head anymore. People never learn.

I don't know what he weighed in Australia but he looked very good, apart from the tears. Hopefully he's beat his drug habit and wont act all crazy this time.

Yea when he came down under we could not believe our eyes. The man looked fantastic for his age and height. He has still managed to keep proportion even much bigger than his early days. One of the great physiques.

Here's another great "classic" physique, Michael Valentino. He got his pro card at the 2002 Nationals at 39 years old. Apparently he's been nursing a back injury but is supposed to be competing on an IFBB stage soon.
