I take b-complex w C, fish oil (EFA in general), whey, and stay away from sugar/high glycemic carbs.
swifto - how do you take your creatine? with juice or gatorade? in morning or preworkout? thanks

I take it pre-WO/intra-WO and PWO.

On non-training days I take a small amount in the AM and then again beforebed.

1. QUALITY probiotic - recommend metagenics ultraflora plus df
2. quality multi vitamin - thorne/metagenics/pure encapsulations
3. d3 5000iu per day
4. fish oil - i use falmeout by biotest stab me if you want but read teh labels first and you will know why
5. quality multi mineral - i use mineral support by biotest (see above before throwing daggers and try reading labels)

ok not quite done also

6. creatine (basic monohydrate) research ergo-log.com for creatine research, it is truly the most under rated thing out there
7. a good basic protein (true protein/biotest/synthetek) whatever you like

Phil, how much COQ10 do you take a day? Sadly I've left this off my regime strictly because of how expensive it is! I plan to incorporate it at some point but am curious about was dose is appropriate. Thanks!

Creatine is great, as others have listed, but you asked for "overall health", so I don't think that fits in (not that it's unhealthy, but I don't think it helps you like fish oil caps and multi-vitamins in the long-run). The couple friends of mine who compete swear by green tea as a fat-loss helper, and lots of research shows that a few cups a day is good for your health.

Keep in mind that in the end, supplements are just that, supplements. For optimal health and to stay lean, it is up to you and what foods you eat, how you train, etc. Supplements just augment your progress.

There are so many but for cost effectiveness and overall health I just take:

Multi-vite packs
Whey protein (blend or isolate), protein bars.
ZMA
Omega-3 Fish Oil
EAA's, and BCAA's

saw a pubmed study where people who took 60mg 2x day saw improvements in systolic blood pressure, so I would think 100mg 2x day is plenty.

You can get Ubiquinol, the "active" part of CoQ10 from dpsnutrition.com (NOW Foods brand), GOOD price... or

CoQ10 powder from purebulk.com... GOOD price!

Make sure to take it with a fatty meal.

1) multi vitamin
2) vit c
3) magnesium
4) Co Q10
5) Fish oil
6) baby aspirin

Weight trainees:
1) whey isolate
2) creatine
3) N.O. product(if it works for you,it doesn't seem to in many)

* DHEA depending on bloodwork
