I gotta admit I am a friend of Darrem's so obviously I am biased.
However, no doubt Ahmed looked great and when the individual routines were done first, I thought there was a very good chance Ahmed would give Darrem
a run for his money.
However, when they went into comparisons, side by side, then Darrem
really outclasses Ahmed. What Ahmed has going for him are his abs and
good symmetry, but his legs are weak as are his biceps. But I would
definetly have given Ahmed second, not the third he ended up with.
Regarding the IFBB directive, yes talk is cheap. The Olympia will be the real test. However, if things stick, and with Dexter NOT
doing the Olympia, the most that stand to gain are indeed Darrem, Melvin
Anthony, and Victor Martinez if he can somehow arrive there in condition.

I WOULD THINK THAT IF THE IFBB WAS HOLDING FIRM TO THEIR DIRECTIVE, HAIDAR WOULD HAVE WON.. instead they awarded darrem, who is getting bigger and thicker with every show.. and the freak jackson got second.. it is like what one judge (ifbb) said when i ask him about the directive.. he stated that the fans themselves are putting too much into this directive.. all the ifbb was saying was that the guts had to be kept in check (which we can all agree too) this in turn would give the athlete a better v taper and would be more pleasing to the "eye".. the freaks are still going to win the olympia.. ronnie will still win.. one can not base what the ifbb is going to do based on these last couple of shows.. they were packed with lower level athletes.. if cutler, ronnie, cormier, preist ect would have entered the shows it would have been totally different.. the olympia will be the test to see how well they enforce it.. by the way, the same judge told me that he felt that ronnie was symettrical and still pleasing to the eye at 290 pounds.. so once again.. i think the fans are blowing too much into this..the ifbb might have a different view of things than we..
