Training after gallbladder surgery

So my wife had her gallbladder removed about 4 weeks ago. she woke me up @ 6am and said she wanted to go to the ER cuz she was in pain. she had an idea it was her GB (she's a nurse)
she was extremely lucky that day because the surgeon on call was nothing less than spectacular. this guy was able to remove her GB athroscopically through just 1 incision in the bellybutton.
I was amazed! but anyway, she still has some discomfort and is really anxious to get back to doing cardio and eventually weight training. I guess i'm just wondering how long before she can get back into her normal routine? Doc said 4-6 weeks before she feels close to 100%. she still is very tired every day.

Ive been a nurse for many years. Most who have their Gallbladder removed have a problem with lose stools and or diarrhea.
the problem is they cant tolerate moderate to high amounts of fat in your diet. Most who have the surgery have to really watch their diets for the rest of their lives.
